Software Engineer III
Description

Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.  May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

  • Understands all coding demands.
  • Familiar with an extensive variety of concepts, practices, procedures and business rules.
  • Relies on solid experience, training and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
  • Provides technical support to project team members.
  • Typically serves as Project Lead or Manager.
  • Anticipates and resolves problems.
  • Creativity and latitude are required.
Qualifications

Education

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, 3-5 years of experience and served as Project Lead on complex projects

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, 4-6 years of experience and served as Project Lead on complex projects

-OR-

  • Completion of certified training/bootcamp program in Computer Science or related field, 5-7 years of experience and served as Project Lead on complex projects
